Hybrid Air Vehicles - putting Bedfordshire on the map

Written by Paula Devine | 12 Feb 2016

2016 will be a momentous year for the future of aviation with the innovative Airlander 10 taking to the British skies for the first time; our pioneering team of experts continues to make ground-breaking progress on a daily basis – most recently attaching the Mission Module to the iconic hull.

It has been an exciting week here in hangar 1 Cardington, with massive media interest due to a big splash in The Times on Tuesday. As a result over the last week we have been in over 50 publications around the world; hopefully doing our bit to put Bedfordshire on the map.

Production is running 24/7 as we near first flight and we are about to hit the key milestone of attaching the fins and the engines.

The Mayor of Bedford Borough, Dave Hodgson, acknowledged our progress when he said: “This test run will be a truly breath-taking sight for local people to witness.  Bedford Borough is proud to be home to Hybrid Air Vehicles, and we are delighted to see them achieving key milestones in this pioneering project.”

We have had so many enquiries about investing in our company, we thought the easiest way to satisfy this demand would be to open a new crowdfunding campaign. This is likely to be live from mid-March to mid-April. The Crowd campaign will allow people to invest from as little as £100 investments, but expect the bulk of funds to be from people investing £2,500 or more. We’ll raise money on Crowdcube.com and try and keep everyone informed.

Please contact us if you’re interested, and we would be happy to discuss. investorrelations@hybridairvehicles.net
