Alcohol Services for the Community seeking sponsors for event on alcohol and the family

Written by Paula Devine | 07 Dec 2012

Alcohol Services for the Community (asc)  is seeking sponsors for an event that is intended to help understanding of behaviours that lead to problematic family drinking and develop strategies to reduce existing and future problems.

asc is a charity that has been providing quality prevention, harm reduction and treatment services to individuals, families and communities in Luton and Bedfordshire for over 33 years.

A forthcoming conference due to take place in February is themed in response to the work the charity undertakes with families.    It will look at the behaviours that lead to problematic family drinking as these are necessary to identify and prioritise the underlying causes in order to develop strategies to reduce existing and future problematic alcohol use.

The conference will not only raise awareness locally but will identify appropriate activities and approaches and agree how partnership working can deliver national and local alcohol strategies more effectively for the whole family. An estimated 150 guests from across the county will attend and inspirational speakers will take the lead in sharing their expertise

asc are seeking corporate sponsors for the event who have a professional and social interest in this field.  This is an ideal way to invest in corporate social responsibility and at the same time benefit for the promotional activities on offer which include circulation of your promotional material in delegate packs, 1/4 page advertisement in the conference programme and sponsor status highlighted on all printed and electronic correspondence and editorial as well as asc's annual report and website.

The cost to become a supporting sponsor is just £250.  For further information contact Susan O'Dell, asc's Business Development Coordinator on 01582 723434.
