Eco experts to speak at Uni

Written by Paula Devine | 11 Sep 2013

TWO eco-friendly business experts are to visit the University of Bedfordshire’s Knowledge Network to discuss the lucrative energy efficient technology market.

Martin Garratt of Cambridge Cleantech and Dr Martin Clark from Future Business will outline the opportunities for small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) to enter the sector.

‘Cleantech’, a term used to describe companies utilising innovative technology in their products, is gaining in popularity amongst SMEs due to low costs and the reduced impact on the environment.

The event starts at 5.30pm on Monday, 7 October at the University’s Putteridge Bury Conference Centre, near Luton.

This event will be hosted by the Knowledge Network which helps companies grow and aims to help local firms and entrepreneurs develop new business links, learn from peers and share knowledge and experience.

Tickets cost £20 for Knowledge Network members (£30 for non members) and includes wine and a buffet.

To book places call 0800 328 5334 or email knowledge@beds.ac.uk .
