Consultation on plans for Bedford Technical Academy

Written by Paula Devine | 15 Oct 2013

Bedford College is proposing to open a brand new Technical Academy in September 2015 focusing on specialist technical training in science, service and creative technologies.

Aimed at students aged 13 to 19, our Technical Academy will be a state-funded school that is independent from local government control. This means it will have the freedom to design its own curriculum and learning experience in a way that benefits our students best, which will make a real difference to local young people. Academies are regulated by Ofsted and exam results are publicly available.

As part of the application, Bedford College is currently consulting with the local community to identify demand for the Academy and need your help!
