The course draws on the wealth of experience Acas has on avoiding legal difficulties as a manager and at the same time touches on best practice motivational and managerial techniques. It covers the fundamentals of management from basic leadership styles to the qualities essential to becoming a leader and manager. The course aims to provide a broad overview of the basic ‘do’s and don’ts’ for managers that will provide the basis for further training and study.
