Date & Time: 17/03/2015 10:00 am - 3:00 pm | Location: Central Bedfordshire Council
The event is taking place during Business Continuity Awareness Week (16th – 20th March), and aims to promote and raise awareness on how to keep businesses safe, and what to do when crisis hits. The event is aimed at SME’s who require some advice, guidance, hints and tips on the aforementioned, and also provides an opportunity to network with other businesses in Bedfordshire.
So far I have confirmed attendance from the following organisations:
-Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce
-Federation of Small Businesses (Promotion)
Guest speaker, Duncan Stirling, who experienced major business disruption first hand following the explosion at the Buncefield oil storage depot in Hemel Hempstead in 2005. He will talk about how he and his colleagues had to rebuild their IT services company from the ground – and how crucial it was that they had rehearsed their disaster plan just a week before the explosion. Duncan will deliver two presentations at 11:00 and 13:00 (changeable depending on attendance figures).
Light refreshments and sandwiches will be provided, and free parking is also available
