Making Stress Work at Work
Date & Time: 22/10/2014 7:45 am - 9:30 am | Location: Aubrey Park Hotel
Did you know there has been a “24% increase in the number of working days lost to stress, depression and anxiety since 2009” according to Chief Medical Officer Professor Dame Sally Davies? Dealing with stress is a difficult and costly issue for employers and it cannot be ignored. How do you deal with stress-related absence in the context of disciplinary, dismissal and disability? All employers have a legal responsibility to ensure the health, safety and welfare at work of their employees which includes minimising the risk of stress-related illness or injury.
In this seminar, we will look at what your legal obligations and liabilities are. We will equip you with some practical tools to take back into the workplace to help you comply with your obligations and minimise any claims. We will also be discussing relevant case studies and sharing knowledge and experience with your peers.
The breakfast will run from 7.45am until 9.30am to enable you to get on with the rest of your working day, but there will be extra time for those who want to learn more or just catch up with colleagues and business acquaintances over a coffee afterwards.
Reserving your place could not be simpler. Just reply to Abi Palmer at firstname.lastname@example.org. If any of your colleagues wish to attend, please also include their email contact details when you respond.
