Fully-funded programme offers Beds businesses chance to develop leadership and management skills

A fully-funded programme, supported by the European Social Fund in partnership with Central Bedfordshire Council and Bedford Borough Council, is being offered by the University of Bedfordshire. Skills for Growth offers organisations operating in Bedfordshire the opportunity to develop their employees' leadership and management skills.

Skills for Growth aims to provide better leadership and management skills to managers in key sectors of the Bedfordshire economy, leading to innovation and growth in the businesses where they operate.

Participants will work towards the Chartered Management Insitute Level 5 Award in Leadership and Management. The programme is targeted at middle/senior managers or company directors who fulfil the following requirements:

  • Aged 19+
  • Working in a registered business employing between 2-50 employees
  • Companies must be based in Central Bedfordshire or Bedford Borough to be eligible

The 10 week course is free to eligible applicants and starts on Tuesday 8th January at the University's Bedford Campus.
