I am writing to invite you to join our fundraising campaign for Hockwell Ring Boxing Club Luton.
The Club’s primary goal is to give young people an opportunity to succeed through sport and empower them to realise their true potential. As you know, I am part of a team of five Executive MBA students at the University of Hertfordshire and we are really excited to be able to make a difference to young people as part of our community project.
Hockwell Ring is one of the wards in Luton suffering with high levels of deprivation. Having a Club in the centre of the community provides a place where the young people can go to and channel their energies through sport. The club’s vision is to have a fully equipped gym and community space that they can offer to all.
To take the club to the next level, the club is keen to build links and partnerships with local businesses to allow them to continue to grow and would like to invite your members to join this project. In return the club offers several sponsorship packages some of which are summarized below:
Lead Event Sponsor 2nd Dec Open Day: £1,000
• Complimentary Thank You Dinner with chairperson from the boxing
club and University of Hertfordshire Executive MBA Project Team
• Name in local press release as Lead sponsor of the Open Day Event
• Photography opportunity
• Plus all the benefits of sports & scholarship sponsors.
Sports & Scholarship Sponsors:
1 year scholarship of session (£500),
equipment package (£100), 1 month of sessions (£40), 1 pair boxing Gloves
(£20), 1week scholarship of sessions (£10), skipping rope (£5)
Alternatively your organisation may wish to make a small donation to the club to help it to continue to provide its service to the community.
