Kier wins RoSPA award

Chamber member Kier Homes, based in Sandy, has won a Silver Award from the Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents (RoSPA) , for its occupational and safety management standards.

The award recognises and celebrates the achievement of a very high standard of health and safety at work over three years.

David Rawlins, RoSPA’s awards manager, said: “RoSPA firmly believes that organisations which demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement in accident and ill health prevention deserve recognition. Kier has shown that it is committed to striving for such continuous improvement and we are delighted to honour it through the presentation of an award.”

Dating back 57 years, the RoSPA Awards scheme is the largest and longest-running programme of its kind in the UK. This key health and safety awards programme offers organisations a prime opportunity to showcase and share their ongoing commitment to raising health & safety standards and be part of the longest running and highly respected occupational safety awards programme.
