Seeking Chamber members to attend focus group on new auto-enrolment rules.

Written by Paula Devine | 10 Oct 2012

JobCentre Plus in Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire are looking for five Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce members to take part in a 90 minute breakfast event in St Albans on auto-enrolment of pensions.

The national Department for Work & Pensions Project team, with responsibility of launching and delivering the Auto-Enrolment of Pensions over the next 3 years, have selected our Jobcentre Plus District (Bedfordshire and Hertfordshire) to participate in a customer and employer insight exercise. They are keen to invite employers and employer representative groups to receive a presentation of this Government initiative and use the opportunity, of a face to face meeting, to gain valuable insight from the delegates in respect of the impacts, challenges and concerns/questions.

The project team plan to hold a breakfast event (8am to approximately 9.30am) in St Albans Jobcentre on Thursday 25th October (Venue - Beauver House, 6 Bricket Road, St Albans, Hertfordshire AL1 3JU). Jobcentre staff will be on hand to welcome all attendees and lead everyone to our conference room which is situated on the 2nd floor. Light refreshments including tea, coffee, juice and breakfast bites will be provided.

If you are interested in attending, please contact Steve Perry on 07879 667381.
