Written by Paula Devine | 09 Oct 2013

Bedfordshire Chamber of Commerce member THSP (The Health and Safety People) is delighted to announce exciting changes to its Employment Law services which now includes an enhanced level of benefits for its clients.

Recognising the need to offer practical, relevant advice to beleaguered employers faced with the challenges brought about by a myriad of ever-changing laws and legislation, THSP has increased its on site visits as part of its already comprehensive service.  These additional visits, which are at no extra cost to the employer, offer the opportunity to further discuss any issues and ensure that they are compliant and up to date with their employment law issues.

THSP is now able to offer many services on a fixed fee, case by case basis, from staff handbooks and contracts of employment or support on specific cases such as redundancy, disciplinary and medical capability.  Andrew Wilson, THSPs Employment Law Consultant Director says “Our team of employment law consultants is dedicated to ensuring employers get the support you need to take the stress out of employment issues. We ensure you are legally compliant and have the policies and procedures in place to minimise business risks. Our high level of customer satisfaction is a reflection of our excellent service.”

For example, following a recent change in legislation, employers can now offer settlement agreements via protected negotiations, This is a legally binding agreement terminating employment, which is potentially good news for both employers if handled correctly.  THSP now offers assistance with such agreements either as part of the retained service or on a fixed fee basis.
